1. What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address, login sessions, chosen plan, and credit balance. When you run an audit, we process the URLs you submit, page captures, device settings, and any interaction notes you provide so we can generate the requested review output.

We also collect basic usage data such as which features you use, how often you run audits, and device or browser information. This helps us understand how people use the product and where to focus improvements.

2. Billing and payments

Payments are processed through Dodo Payments. Snap Site stores billing status, product keys, subscription status, customer identifiers, and credit ledger entries. We never store your full payment card number, CVV, or bank account details — those are handled entirely by our payment processor.

3. How we use information

We use your data to authenticate you, deliver and improve the audit service, process purchases, restore credits, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising.

4. Cookies and local storage

Snap Site uses essential cookies and browser local storage for authentication tokens, session state, and remembering your preferences (such as theme and recent URLs). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use two analytics tools to understand product usage: Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and collects only aggregate, anonymized usage statistics; and Microsoft Clarity, which sets cookies to record session replays and generate heatmaps that help us improve the user experience. Clarity masks sensitive content (form inputs, personal data) by default. Neither tool is used for advertising.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of providers to deliver the service. Each one receives only the minimum data needed for its part of the workflow, and is bound by its own privacy policy and data processing agreement.

  • Hosting and database: Vercel (web app and serverless API), Neon (Postgres) for accounts, jobs, and credit ledger.
  • File storage: Vercel Blob for screenshots and audit artifacts.
  • Capture and AI: Firecrawl for page capture; Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and OpenAI for the AI review pipeline.
  • Email: AutoSend for transactional email (magic-link sign-in, support replies, and contact-form notifications).
  • Payments: Dodo Payments for checkout, subscriptions, and top-up purchases.
  • Analytics: Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate usage statistics, and Microsoft Clarity for session replays and heatmaps that help us improve UX. Clarity masks sensitive content by default and processes data under Microsoft’s privacy terms.

6. Data retention

Audit captures and review data are retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete an audit, the associated captures and findings are fully purged within 30 days. When you request account deletion, we acknowledge the request within 14 days and complete the purge within 30 days. Some billing and security records may be retained beyond that where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for stored data. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized team members. We regularly review our infrastructure and practices to address potential vulnerabilities.

8. Your rights and choices

You can contact us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively — including the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
